GARDÉNIA - Gestão Empresarial PDF Print E-mail

GARDENIA  is  a  entry-level  enterprise  management software designed specifically for the portuguese (Portugal) market, developed by GOTHAM - Sistemas Integrados de Gestão   Empresarial Lda.  

It is Open Source Software, distributed freely and without costs, under LGPL License. 

Presented completely in a WEB environment and developed in Java 2 Enterprise Edition technology, provides the following   operations and functionality:   

  • Customers and Contacts Management
  • Suppliers Management
  • Products and Categories management
  • Manages the following document types:
    • Invoices
    • Cash Invoices
    • Debit and Credit Notes
    • Shipment and Transport Notes
    • Pro-Forma Invoice
    • Quotes
    • Creation of new Document types
  • Stock management integrated with documets reception and issueing
  • Management Reports
  • Events/Activity Management (CRM)
  • Help Desk / Issue Tracking( CRM)
  • Control Panel, where all information can be viewed  in a central point

GARDENIA is distributed in two editions:

  • GARDENIA Desktop Edition
    This edition is recommended for demonstration, tests and small installations. The base code is the same as the enterprice version, but it is packaged as a desktop application (it has an integrated database and web server, and automatically launches the default web browser to access the application). Installation is very simple since it is distributed with an installer. It requires an JRE version 1.4.2 or higher (Java Runtime Enviroment, included in the windows installer).

  • GARDENIA Enterprise Edition
    This edition is the recommended one for production systems. It is a JAVA Web Application (destributed as a .zip file containing install instructions and a WAR -  Web ARchive file), that must be installed on a J2EE compliant java web application server, as JAKARTA-Tomcat or BEA WebLogics. It also requires an relational database (FirebirdSQL). The installation process for this edition is sightly more complex.

Beyond the informal support offered by the GARDENIA user community (mailing lists, forums), GOTHAM provides several  commercial support options for GARDENIA, including installation, data migration, training, and consulting, personalization and custom development to adapt gardenia to your business needs,
